I'm sure you put faith behind some concept.

of course, faith is the most powerful achievement in mankind, not the blind -retarded one but rather the unconditional one the "no matter what happens i will make it cause i am brilliant and i rock the shit, fuck negativity"

Something a dog can do about it's owner is the most powerful achievement in mankind?

I see faith as ignoring logic in favor of fixating on a desired outcome. At best it's streamline and at worst it's blind.

why do you assume that logic/rationality/ science are superior to animalistic tendencies? that's so dumb

humans are animals too, majority of your actions are driven by basic instinct

even this conv, the expression and the analyzation you go through are rational* (not so much) based but the instinct that drives you is "mammal"

also nah, that's not faith, that's belief

my sense of faith is more like "it will happen cause i will it to happen, and if it doesn't happen is cause i didn't will it to"

it's more like a confidence boost than a conclusion

Logic, rationality, and science are what has prolonged our lives and allowed us to become an invasive species.

humans are animals too, majority of your actions are driven by basic instinct

Does that make those instincts better than logic, rationality, and science?

Instincts come naturally, they are literally unavoidable, but the things you're trying to say are lesser are what let us surpass nature as far as we've come.

also nah, that's not faith, that's belief

That sounds remarkably solipsist, nearly on par with Turquie's goddess fantasies. I'd also still classify that approach as a belief, as you seem to believe that what happens around you is based on your will. That's the same mindset that leads to people casting "Intention spells" and shit for Wiccan practices.

What does that even do for you though? I'd rather recognize when I made mistakes so that I can correct myself.

i am more of a fatalist in such things like life, events, so if anything solipsism is the exact opposite (i find it delusional and compensatory)

you don't get what i mean, i mean that

you don't have to hold it as TRUE but you have to say IT

cause it's bad ass, and even if you don't believe it, it makes you a warrior
