Logic, rationality, and science are what has prolonged our lives and allowed us to become an invasive species.

Instincts come naturally, they are literally unavoidable, but the things you're trying to say are lesser are what let us surpass nature as far as we've come.

I'd also still classify that approach as a belief, as you seem to believe that what happens around you is based on your will. That's the same mindset that leads to people casting "Intention spells" and shit for Wiccan practices. 

What does that even do for you though? I'd rather recognize when I made mistakes so that I can correct myself.
