I agree about softer design, and by that I mean there are too many edges currently, like in chat. the way it looked before without a new boarder for each member's text was better. just time and username before their text, easier to read that way too. 

other than that I also agree with xad

also the gap between lines when you hit enter is too large and I don't like this font. heh

I mean the chat is tougher to read. The site looks a little harsh to the eye, if the design can be altered a little so that the chat is bigger and quicker and easier to read, it would feel like a good interface.

I am not a designer, so i dont really know what to do about that exactly.
I can try to come up with shit, but everyone have different subjective ideas.

So i'd suggest you make a thread and discuss it in length, maybe get Blanc to create the design.

Then i will see if i can implement your final idea as a theme, or just make all the themes using it.
There might be some technical limitations and i'd prefer not to redeisgn the entire site, that will probably take a long time to update. But in general, everything is possible, the question is: is it worth it and is it a good idea?

 I think the chat changes are the most important rn

it's less easy to read and "harsher" as seer put it, and... people don't like change that much

if we can get that sorted then a lot of other things don't matter to me/we'll get use to them/can do over time

The community has a way of becoming more active when people can appear to be on while they are inactive.

Phone users will be logged in forever, i dont think its a great idea and you can use puppets, and log them in with different ips, and never log out or something, and have 100 online users.
if everyone wants this i will make it so, but i am not convinced.

 Logging in with multiple accs on different ips to a huge degree is something jim or i could pull. Ive been on the phone and already logged out a few times (idk if you pushed an update or this thing). I can see how it'll annoy a lot of people, on sc people went afk for up to 6 hours

This makes sense, especially compared to the Luna model. How many should we figure should agree before implementing though? 

Avatar cropping will not come soon, there are more important features first, but its something i wanted by design

In the meantime there's websites like Snag.gy (https://snag.gy/) that people can use for crops. Since this website lets you put in links for your avatars instead of doing server uploads, that's a decent workaround for the meantime if not overall. 

There is also a Flash based Photoshop (https://www.freephototool.com/) that saves by uploading to Imgur, allowing crops and adjustments in general that can do it for us until such a time that it's unneeded. 


My only suggestion... I do not realize how much of a crutch Spellcheck's been for me until it's gone. I see the red lines telling me my failures without presenting how to fix it beyond guesswork and google, and while that is a way to push me to learn better spelling it's faster to not have to focus on it and just right click some mistakes. 

Do not log out out due to inactivity.

When im at work i only am able to check my phone every so often and taking a minute to log in each time ends up wasting a lot of the little down time i get.
