Mozart melts my heart. His music represents exactly how my brain works. It’s complicated and there are changes in the tempo that seem random, but it’s really just telling a very intricate and varied story about life. Okay, I got a little carried away there, but I get bored of the other two. Beethoven’s my second favorite because I get bored after a longer period of time, but my least favorite is Bach. I can’t handle the repetition. It just feels safe to me and I need excitement, or at least my brain does. Simulation is probably more accurate, but they all have some good songs, but Mozart gets me.

This totally represents my life. I’m always a page ahead of everyone else... alone :(

Depends on the mood, Bach and Mozart are a tie for me. I gave the vote to Bach because the range of stuff he composed was insane. I've never found Beethoven too interesting, his music annoys me after a while.

I think what makes Bach the best is his absolute mastery of harmonizing different lines of music at the same time while also keeping them on the same theme and still having enough variety to sound interesting. His solo stuff is also very good. I honestly haven't been bored by a single work by him except maybe the choral stuff because I can't understand the language, but anything instrumental is great.

Now, Mozart to me sounds way too simple to be compared to Bach. I get that it was melodic but I tend to go for more complexity. Mozart sounds boring to me.

Beethoven was interesting jn that he added emotion and different tempos but I actually think that Bach innovated baroque in a more profound way than Beethoven innovated classical.

So I gotta give it to Bach.

It’s funny, the first part of what you said is why I don’t like him as much as the other two. Same, and same is boring to me. Harmonizing is too simple. Wow, we think the opposite. Mascara is so not boring. Maybe you should listen to his stuff again. Maybe you’re getting them confused. Maybe I need to make sure I’m correct. Yep, I am.

Bach is the most original. Beethoven was objectively the best.

Interesting... Maybe there is something to our choices... We need more data!

I figured it out. So, Mozart makes me want to do ballet, which means it is less complicated from the outside, but if you pay attention to the tiny little changes, you’ll see it’s very complicated. It’s like my brain. That’s why you people think it’s obvious and you understand it, but you really don’t because the tiny nuances make I up a vast network of complicated thoughts and ideas that you can’t see or understand unless you really try. You have to have the mental sensitivity to hear every single slight change of note, just like you have to have the mental sensitivity to understand me as more than just what you see on here. That’s probably why the only other person who thinks Mozart is in the running for number one is Trypt. He’s also the only person who truly understands me, so I think I figured out how our choices relate to who we are.

Classical music is my thing. So... anyone want to accompany me to the opera? I love dressing up and I love a good show. Some are not my thing, but I get notifications when my favorite ones are in Sacramento. It’s cheaper over there because not as many people are into it, but here it’s pretty expensive. Plus, I like to visit my college friends while I’m up there.

I don't really give Classical much of a look normally, but glancing over a 'best of' for each of them gave me a general idea of themes:

The notes go from high to low way too often to the point of being jarring. I can't relax to this stuff, it's too demanding of my attention. A lot of his works sound like repetitions on similar ideas.

I've heard a little too much Beethoven passively to really enjoy it anymore. I like that the notes are more gradual than Bach's for the sake of building up a story instead of being all over the place, but I find it by contrast to Bach to feel a bit sluggish for much of it.

It almost feels like he's somewhere between the other two, but it feels too orderly. The buildup feels a little too similar across pieces.

I guess I'll pick Beethoven for at least offering more variety.

That’s how my brain is too, it’s chaos that’s made simple through order. I categorize everything in my head and compartmentalize things and events and people and even have my own version of google in my head. It’s more like an archive, but yeah, it’s like not wildly psychotic, but just crazy enough to be almost undetectably dangerous. It’s like the music, the songs start out almost undetectably different. You just have to value the subtlety.

Ha a young upwardly mobile at the opera I’m skeptical of your interest.
