Hello, I am back again with more tech complaints.
Spotify has updated their program and now it is lagging my entire desktop. I'm on an iMac. It also looks kind of terrible, the platform itself now. I want it back to the way it was. I wouldn't be mad if the program itself wasn't laggy, glitchy and slow compared to the old version. Please tell me how to revert it back.
Something similar has also happened to tumblr and it is laggy and glitchy on all devices, including desktop but it works best on Chrome. (Most things work better on chrome for some reason, youtube is faster, facebook, etc. it's weird.) Compared to safari.
But anyway, I wish companies would focus on efficiency and not force their users to update.
There's even been problems with some of Apple's OS's in the past, though they do work to correct them rather quickly. There was a period of time in 2020 where the update was so bad that even the starbucks drive through cashiers were telling me about it like, "Have you got the new update? Omg, don't do it, it's so bad. It crashes etc."
It's like, c'mon, we pay for these services. you know? We pay a lot of money for the good quality platforms and then they go switching up on us (with exception to tumblr being free.)
Also I don't like the way Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, most streaming apps make it difficult to see the full arsenal of entertainment you can watch. Like, I don't want to see just the front page of what you're pushing me to watch. Wtf? I want to look through all of what's available. And I also am not able to see my watch history with ease on the platform, which is odd to me. I do like that "add to my watch later list" features though on Amazon Prime and Netflix.
These are just areas I would improve if I were responsible for improving these apps.
By the way if you haven't heard of it there is a new streaming service called Peacock which is free. It's great option for anyone who just doesn't want to pay the streaming fees. I'm glad people can still get to watch movies, they just have to put up with commercial breaks. I think they most likely don't have Netflix, Apple, and Amazon Prime exclusives however.
