life can be busy and being constantly aware is tiring
i find that i unwind only when im less aware for whichever reason, like really focused on one thing, and this one thing varies. it can be a conversation, youtube clip, or a train of thought. it may last a few seconds if i'm lucky. i've noticed how it's increasingly more important to calm my brain at the end of the day because if i don't, then my sleep suffers and it has a cascade effect into the next day
stress and nervosity keep me from fully forgetting my whereabouts and focusing on one thing, this is potentially debilitating.
