Idk it's probably culture thing too coffee in the morning and coffee in the evenings the way to go.tbh

In the evening?

I knew someone and she'd have coffee in the evening before bed, too. It's bizarre isn't it? She'd sleep quietly and good, and yes it was caffeinated. Her system was just wired differently and she wasn't an anxious person at all either

There's two types of people who use stimulants to fall asleep:

A) ADD/ADHD types: It's similar to the Ritalin before bed principle, but not nearly as unhealthy. I've more traditionally seen it done with Coca-Cola for some reason, not sure why.

B) Addicts: The addiction symptoms make it harder to rest, making for better sleep with it than without it in relation to the withdrawal otherwise. The cravings can seriously fuck with blood pressure and REM sleep, making for more active dreams to the point of nightmare. Rather than drinking caffeine to sleep, they are drinking it to calm down enough from the addiction to achieve slumber. There is otherwise no reason to drink caffeine before sleep unless you're hoping to overdo it and crash afterwards.

She was neither, I am very certain. Something is missing here amigo

People have to be pretty amped from the getgo to fall asleep from stimulants.

Or maybe some people can sleep despite having drank caffeine, and the range of effect is wider than originally expected?

I struggle to sleep without caffeine
