I see that as the bottom line.
I can understand why you might think I'm just "keeping my hands clean" or trying to use friendship as a shield, but it's really not like that. I don't need others to be on my side, and I'm pretty genuine in my statements. What you may see as manipulation is actually just me getting along with people. I don't have to rope falsities into it or otherwise be disingenuous. I still prod people a lot, but you're overlooking that because you have an idea of how you think I behave.
So you genuinely think CS has 'gained some incredible insights'?
Come on now.
Red herring
I see that as the bottom line.
Seems like the only thing the two have in common, and it's a bit weird that you'd lump them together.
I think in the case of Jim he's just as bad or worse. He makes it more transparent that he's doing it out of a desire to troll and it's definitely sadistic in many cases. With Lena I cannot confirm nor deny the presence of sadism.

Jim knows who he is, he knows the damages he's doing and he doesn't give a shit. Alena by comparison means well but ends up contradicting said means when other aspects of herself come into conflict.
For the Jim case, why point out things like Captain Obvious to someone who's already come to terms with himself?

With Jim the only way to punish him would be a collective silent treatment from everybody which won't happen, he'll just find some other place to get his fuel.

Not to me; it's the same action. I was merely pointing out your complacency with the one and your rallying against the other.

So you can't figure why only one of those would be addressed over the other?
I'm sure you have your own reasons.
Ones you can't seem to figure out apparently, if you think Alena and Jim's actions are so similar.
