kk :)

*stops being tactful and punches Dima's arm*

Yeah yeah. I don't punch people in the nose unless I hate them. Noses bleed and leave a disgusting bloody mess all over. EW

The place in the photo looks pretty  :)

Eek. It doesn't surprise me that any big city in Russia would be full of organized crime. You can't get away from that in big cities anywhere in the world, I guess. Even we cutesie little polite Canadians have bike gangs in our big cities. But normal working citizens never see them unless they go looking for drugs or whatever. If your mafia have crossed over into legitimate business, there aren't as many problems with thugs as there were 20 and 30 years ago, right?

Sergey seems like he does ok. He posts wholesome family stuff, concerts, museums, cat hospitals, restaurants, that sort of thing. I've been watching his channel for almost 2 years, now. I found him when I was looking for some info on The Myth of Rasputin's Penis :&( I feel like I shouldn't lol bc what happened to Rasputin and the royal family was horrible, despite the somewhat hilarious weirdness of somebody charging people money to see some floating penis in a jar 0_o)

But yeah, Sergey's channel is great  :)

You could do a vlog for other Russians about life in the way far north  :)

Your written English is ok. You could even put up English subtitles like Messi the rescue cougar's daddy, for an English speaking audience  :)

Might be shit but it's home.

I'm with trypt though, first phot has its charm.

Uniformity in the apartment complex and smoke stacks in the distance, 100% Soviet.

At least they paint the buildings at Dimas place. Ours are all gray, it looks like a suicide black metal band cover.

well ... my ex-stepdaughter didn't hate me, but nevertheless, she hit me in the nose all the time. :) her head was full of dopamine and serotonin when she was doing this and she was laughing very loudly. :) * proudly * i did it !!! this is my merit! I taught her how to clench her fists and beat people in the nose! I taught her to kick people in the shins! just one day she ran to me and complained to me that the neighbors' boys insult her and beat her in the yard on the children's playground. now she enjoys authority among all the boys and girls in our town. :) I think that when she grows up, she will create her own gang and she will rob banks. :)

I wonder ... will she dare to break her mother's injunction or not? will she call me or will she be afraid to do it? of course she loves her mother much more than me, but ... :)

Russia's main problem is our mentality. we tend to support our relatives and friends even when they commit crimes. we no longer have ideological communists who are ready to sacrifice their lives for the sake of their country. the main national idea of the modern Russian elite is their accounts in American, European banks and offshore companies around the world. the criminal bosses of russia organize luxurious banquets for their anniversaries and our judges, prosecutors and FSB colonels are present at these banquets. :) modern youth is no longer able to win the battles of Stalingrad. they want to live the American way and make money from blogging. :)

I'm still pissed at the Bolsheviks for killing Alexandrovich Romano and his family. That was not a very nice thing to do.

Tsar Niki was just the kind of dumb that comes from having too much money. I don't think he understood the harm he was doing by not wanting to give the people better labour laws. And he had already abdicated. The Tsarina was just an old lady whose insides were shredded from pushing out all those kids. She would not have been staging any coups if they had let her live.

What they should have done was follow cousin Olga's lead. They could have come to Canada or England if they feared the worst. But they had that strange cognitive dissonance, that mental disconnect that ppl in positions of power get when their subjects rise up to overthrow them. In their arrogance, they didn't believe they were in any real danger until it was too late. So yeah, they probably deserved that, if only because they could have run away and didn't.

I do feel bad for Lexi and the princesses, tho. They were too young to die like that. I mean, what could a little haemophiliac boy have done to seize power again? Nothing. Forensics experts confirmed that the remains they found buried at another site away from the others were Lexi and Anastasia, recently (in the last 20 years?) Anastasia was carved up with a bayonet because the assassins ran out of bullets. Ouch.

you are right, Xena. Tsar Niki, his noble relatives and high-ranking noble officials had mountains of gold, but they did nothing to improve the lives of soldiers, workers and peasants. they did not build hospitals, schools for them. except for a few wealthy individuals and poor nobles who built private hospitals and taught in village private schools. the peaceful protests of workers in Moscow, Tsar Niki suppressed with bullets. he was the first to shed the blood of the Russian people. this caused anger and disgust not only among the soldiers, workers and peasants, but even among the officers of his army and many nobles. he was just a dumbass and did not understand life in Russia. he had mountains of gold, but did nothing for the safety of his family. he could send his entire family to his noble kin in England, but ... he was too dumb for that. probably he believed that he really was God's anointed and had an unlimited right to be stupid and cruel towards his own people. :) Tsar Niki gave birth to the Bolsheviks and taught them cruelty. :)

"The late Rudolph Rummel, the demographer of government mass murder, estimated the human toll of twentieth-century socialism to be about 61 million in the Soviet Union, 78 million in China, and roughly 200 million worldwide. These victims perished during state-organized famines, collectivization, cultural revolutions, purges, campaigns against “unearned” income, and other devilish experiments in social engineering."

Does thae above sound familiar? It should do because this is where we are heading under the guise of COVID-19.

This is the real reason Biden is going after owners of assault rifles. His handlers anticipate another bloody revolution.
