Loneliness as the starved appetite for socializing is too natural for this to be enough, unless they have social issues inherently where the appetite wasn't as strong in the first place.

I suffer from deep loneliness. I get along with people very well, but usually neglect them. I'm not often the one to suggest an activity. I don't know, I love my own company but I also feel the need to expand my social circle.
