Either this sort of opposition is created by the very merits of who she is and she's found herself stuck parroting the vitriol that's followed her, or she picks this place over the very merit of feeling like her opposition doesn't have to be taken seriously. It leaves me questioning why she's drawn to places like this, or why she'd choose to cultivate this sort of environment otherwise.

Two things:

A) Why would we want hundreds of new members, is that the bar of success or something? 
B) Does it really make sense to compare to that event? On one hand you're comparing where we are currently to one of it's more highlighted times, and on the other you're almost advocating it be done again with words like this. 

 I'm saying that my arguments were better back in the day bc I cared that somebody I might actually give a shit about might stumble on to luna's old forum and see the vile and untrue things the assholes parroted constantly like the little obsessive broken records they are.

Contrasted to the arguments I belch out at these morons, now. Bc they're the dregs that are left after everybody else got bored with the sc label and moved on.

I'm saying that compared to 3 and 4 years ago, I'm putting in about half the effort I did to argue with you ppl.

Back then I was still only doing about half of what I'm capable of, bc there were only maybe a dozen members I liked and respected, and the odds were still slim. Better, but slim, that anybody from my rl would happen by and connect my first name to the friend's address that wahoo posted in that sad attempt at a dox his BPD old self posted lol

Now, that total is down to maybe 10 ppl who don't outright disgust me, and 4 that I like enough that I would consider going for coffee with them.

The odds that anybody whose opinions about SC's steadily decreasingly plausible pile of rumour mongering could carry over into my real life are down to zero, now.

So as I was saying, on a forum full of ppl whose arguments are mostly tu quoque Peewee Herman bs

If you see anything in my words that bother you, it's only bc I've done my best to mirror these ppl's behaviour and spit it right back at them, rather than give them anything of myself to fart around with.

I'm also incredibly bored with rl since I lost my job of 6 years bc of COVID.

So yeah. It's fun to abuse ppl who don't rlly care and mostly deserve it  :D

In a word, I'm slumming.

Because I'm pissed off and looking for a good fight  :D

I have very little doubt that the way you are with your children, loved ones, or in real life in general is different than how you present yourself online - this is quite common. 

However, what has been stated here, at least by myself, is merely an analysis of how you present yourself consistently in these circles. 

So, if you are a caricature of your actual self so be it but that doesn't negate the reality that the caricature you present shares an ontology that is isomorphic with an incels. 

Not sure if the Jewish faith shares this in common with the Xtian faith, but the churches of my youth and tv viewing were filled up to there with ppl who go through all the motions and cross themselves and throw their arms up in song and good fellowship

and then they're different people entirely when they go home.

I have different rl faces for different social groups, as well. The things I talk about with my son's teacher are different from the things I talk about with my sister or my neighbours.

@ Alice, the characters I present are usually just mirrors.

That's how I deal with a bunch of spastic and bored kitties who want smthg to do.

I hold up a mirror for them to play with.

I'm less likely to get scratched in a tender spot, that way  :D

By presuming archetypes about people you aren't really giving them a chance to appear human to you. It also makes your battles hollow when you aren't fighting them over a more informed basis. 



Sorting people purely into demographics as if that were all that's to them's a bit of an Abed move.

How would you know if they do or don't deserve it if you're choosing not to pay attention beyond the presumptions though? 

It also means that if they do make a good argument that you'd be that much less inclined to hear it, to give it weight. Sometimes bad people make good arguments, and trusted people make bad ones, and if we aren't otherwise impartial then we end up insulating ourselves against other possibilities.

I dismiss ppl like that instantly as scum bc that's what they are.

If you're out in the woods and you hear a moose bellowing, but you can't see it yet, you have about one second to decide if you want to run up a tree, or shoot it.

Taking it home and keeping it as a pet and tryinta communicate with its better nature is not an option.

Any creature who expresses no interest in me beyond rape, torture and mutillation gets treated the way I would treat any raging animal that means to kill me and dismember my children.

It is also assumed by those of us who are civilized  that human beings ought to be able to show better self control than a raging moose.

So if those lowlifes behave like raging animals in my presence, they get treated like food, thx.
