You apparently aren't ready to if you can't even have this discussion with me here, instead preferring to mock what you see as low hanging fruit and hide in the shadows when you're targeted like some sort of opportunistic glass cannon.

There's no need for a discussion/lies/story if she can just admit her motive, which wouldn't take long... We all make mistakes, being wrong is normal and nobody will care after 5 minutes unless you try hard to save face.

I think she tried to speak for the whole community, but went too far clearly.

Peach is your stereotypical 20 something year old woman.

"i <3 animals"

"shoot all pedos"

etc.

These kind of people often feel the need for approval since there's not much that makes them stand out from the crowd.

Her ego though has her thinking she's in the right:

I meant everything i said. I can't be mean to people just because Quiet beef told me to, but if i see someone being an idiot i will tell them

She's allowed to be mean to idiots in her mind, that's the bar she's set for herself for where it is and isn't allowed.

"Low Hanging Fruit", she fears a challenge.

Yeah, it's misguided and incorrect stuff. Most people with some more life experience with people would see what she's doing for what it is.

"i <3 animals"

"shoot all pedos"

It has been a lot of canned who cares stereotype messages, true...

...but she claims to have life experience in this area in the first person. Was she lying, or does she have some reason to behave that way within that context?

Hm, maybe.

Hello Turncoat. I am in a completely different universe right now and i have 0 passion to talk about this topic. Just post screenshots of what i said yesterday. I've been up all night at work, now I'm exhuasted at school and I have an exam I'm about to fail to worry about. I will comment here again when i have something to say

You barely said anything because I pushed that it be done in topic instead of in a place where you could feel safer about being allowed to insult people in a misguided fashion.

Your mistakes here now that you've established them ought to be an example of what not to do, and your avoidance of this shows how much you recognize the mistakes you have made. The pride you're attempting to carry over it though is strange, and ought to be discussed for what it is.

I have definately made mistakes. You were right with the "one shoe doesn't fit all" euphamism (or however you worded it) But I'm not going off of my experience alone. I was an addict living in a revolving household of addicts "getting clean", relapsing, ODing and dying. Heroin abuse is an ugly monster, and it changes the way people think. not all Human brains are the same but all addict brains function in the same general realm of addiction. Heroin is good, too good. people won't quit until they are made to quit.

You also have no idea what other people need, just what you think works from watching TV or some shit. This seems weaker than life experience projections.

I had more passion in my original post because I was angry. I was angry to see a smart, cool person wasting potential and acting a fool. That's stupid. Maybe you're right about me projecting, but I'm not projecting some stupid TV show on her. I'm projecting Michael, and Taylor, and Devin, and Allaina, and Zachary, and Brian, and Justine, and Katie, and Bethany, and Steven and every other addict I saw go through the same steps over and over and over. the pattern is the same, even if the face is different. As Alice mentioned, getting clean is a state of becoming. If you are always" getting clean" and never "clean" you are still just an addict. from my experience, addicts wont actually get better until you show them that they aren't better. The Emotional freak outs Blanc has may be caused by another mental illness, but addicts do the same thing. If anything the addiction is just exasterbating her mental problems, so she should deffinately still stop.

I'm not going to be nice to heroin addicts anymore, in any context of my life. Heroin addicts are a waste of resources, providing absolutely no benefit to society, and only take up the time and resources of others. Stop being selfish, stop being a burden. Or end up dead. 2 of the 10 people i mentioned are dead now.

Sc is pretty boring.

I'm not sure I can agree with this one peachy

I was also a heroin addict and quit because I wanted to, not because I was made to.

not sure of the context of this post but anyway, being nice in general and trying to empathise with people is... well, nice.

P.S. apologies to blanc for saying you didn't finish phlebotomy school. I misunderstood, congrats on your certification

Alright, it is a case by case basis. Not trying to call out, for context how long were you a user? how much did you use? From what I understand Blanc has been "about 30 days clean" for seversl years now. The mark of someone really in the thralls of addiction.

I'm really happy and proud of you for being about to quit, no matter how long you were using tho <3

What drugs were you facing as your struggle?

Heroin abuse is an ugly monster, and it changes the way people think. not all Human brains are the same but all addict brains function in the same general realm of addiction. Heroin is good, too good. people won't quit until they are made to quit.

So you think charging in and saying how they're weak and pathetic is going to make them strong enough to quit?

Check Lebeling Theory, as a lot of this is self-fulfilling prophecy risks being reinforced by your style of attacks. What if she had parents that pushed in the same way, causing you to hit her in direct triggers you lack the knowledge of through context?

There's a reason why this is a delicate field of study and not just the Dr. Phil method.

I had more passion in my original post because I was angry. I was angry to see a smart, cool person wasting potential and acting a fool. That's stupid. Maybe you're right about me projecting, but I'm not projecting some stupid TV show on her.

Probably one of the few people who'd be willing to admit to projection, nice.

Most insist "it is YOUUUU who is projecting!".

So this is about "One Size Fits All"?

Still, you said this stuff triggered you so at least it comes from a place of the heart, but a little empathy and compassion based on the "how" more than the "why" could be enough for such a lash-out to not risk collateral damages like that.

There's nothing wrong with being motivated into wanting to help someone, but each person needs their individual therapy cocktail to find the things that work for them.

As Alice mentioned, getting clean is a state of becoming. If you are always" getting clean" and never "clean" you are still just an addict.

Much like acquiring PTSD, you can't just drop having the experience. Knowledge changes people, and once you've tasted "The Forbidden Fruit" you can't just shake those sins from you.

If that's what you believe, then you're calling Blanc a lost cause for having tasted the stuff at all.

from my experience, addicts wont actually get better until you show them that they aren't better.

Is it your responsibility to be that person, and is it wise to just blurt out attacks and accusations without giving us some sort of narrative context first?

Seems like you're asking for a spark to become a forest fire.

The Emotional freak outs Blanc has may be caused by another mental illness, but addicts do the same thing. If anything the addiction is just exasterbating her mental problems, so she should deffinately still stop.

Have you tried talking to her about this yourself, or are you just gathering narrative from the surrounding grapevine?

Gossip can be dangerous like that.

Here it is, "waste of space" logic. Who are you to say who is and isn't a waste of space in this meaningless existence?

tanks ^^ I was using heavily for about two years, and heavily is subjective yes but for reference I don't remember a lot of those two years because I was constantly so high, and on and off for a couple years before that

addiction is, well I'm hesitant to say what addiction "is" but in my experience it was about a lack of connection and purpose, and in realising that (and realising I wanted connection and purpose) and thus changing my life, the addiction largely just fell away.

some people seem to be more of a lost cause I very readily admit, and it's hard to be patient and understanding, and at the end of the day it's really not your burden and it's all on them. because I think that your initial statement about people only quitting when they are made to, well that is not really quitting, and the addiction will stay with them, like it has for blanc when external forces have made her stop using in the past for certain time periods.

anyway not sure where I'm going with this I am still ti0rd

Ive been in your shoes and you can reach out if you want help, i know it isnt easy, but you dont even have to DO anything. You stop. Stop putting that shit in your body.

I highly doubt you've gone through this stuff if this is how you behave.

As long as you are finding excuses for yourself, you will never get better. You should stop using insanity as an excuse. You should see it as an obstacle you have to surpass.

I just want other people to read this shit and be confused whether it's part of the post or not.
