So we should just leave them be if they're otherwise perceived well by the herd?
You are free to attack her as hard as you want as long as it's not about people loving her more than they love you haha
That's fair.
A lot of the members here who are bitter at people who hurt them in the past and developed being aggressive as a coping mechanism must understand that being friendly and relaxed is all it takes to be liked by people
Does that make it right, authentic, or otherwise denote depth?
I don't know about you, but I like the people I talk to to have more going on. Why would you choose to accept someone empty other than to hear yourself talk?
What is a complex deep personality good for me if the person is a pain in the ass to me or boring?
A challenge.
I've seen what happens if both parties are handling it simply: complacency.
A challenge is fun and also admirable when done at the right times, but when it becomes constant it starts showing some sort of emotional deprivation in that person and makes it seem like that's all there is to their personality. This person is challenging people non-stop to get a self-esteem boost because they are insecure and need constant 1up. They say the best defense is a good defense and to me it signals that this person thinks they are in a hostile environment. A sort of a trauma sign if you will
Also alot of people who attempt depth here are very obvious about it, attempting to display depth for the sake of depth appearance causes the opposite reaction in me.
So you find the lack thereof refreshing?
I find the lack of trying to stand out and seeking attention for oneself and being argumentative for the sake of acknowledgement refreshing.
For example, the majority of people I met here have no hobbies that are non-conductive to material or social gains. Their days are spent arguing on the internet and creating squabbles to scratch that emptiness itch where I think there should have been a pursuit like learning or doing something that makes them happy and is also creative in some form.
If they feel a sense of fulfillment that to their minds is equal to that of a person who otherwise makes something of themselves, does their success in the collective world really matter? What if arguing ('debate') on the internet is their hobby?
I otherwise agree when it comes to the more blatantly trapped cases, like Blanc.
I also thought about that tbh. "What if arguing and challenging is their hobby". I guess the frequency of it would pose as a telling sign even though we have no way to really quantify this properly. If that's all they do during an interaction and it's to the point that's their defining feature then I would say it's more born out of need (i challenge and argue, I am in control, I am valuable, bad feels go away).
When it comes to hobbies and personal pursuits I would say it's more about personal success. If I am a rock collector success for me means I collected a rock I was looking for a long time. If I am a chinese learner it's memorizing 10 characters today. I am not talking about making money fucking bitches etc
The sad issue is that a lot of people's daily highlights here is winning an online argument or gaining some discord popularity/win. Internet drama is all they have and all they are, losing their humanity and dimensions.
Instead the pursuits of the majority of people are social games and drama, in an eternal chase for narc supply to not fall into emptiness.
Have you become ascetic or something since we last spoke?
I don't really see the problem with indulging in socializing, the appetite for it contributing to the illusion of it meaning something. Why rebuff it?
LOL no but what I am trying to say is that the people here are stuck chasing dopamine and a self-esteem pack that they will be hungry for 5 minutes later instead of finding out what would really make them happy and doing it (ie you found out you like to study niggers and nigger civilizations, doing this makes u happy)
Some pursuits are emotionally restorative like me working on my own operating system and peach chan making soap, why not bother with that instead of living trapped in the e-matrix? Their lives seem futile to me.
People who are friendly and opaque come across as mysterious and also self-fulfilled. No need for drama, no jealous behavior towards other members, no seeking e-popularity catch my eye.
Bits of who they are show between the lines though, which then has their inauthentic mask become like the buzzing of a fly in the room. Sure I could try to ignore the fly, let it keep buzzing around, or I could do something about it. Once you've seen their motivations it's not like you can just ignore them.
To say one thing but then display the other, I'm sure you understand the bait of it.
There is an element of danger I see in that type of person that also catches my interest. I also am getting the sense that miss chan is in her room imagining herself as a puppet master controlling all these betas to fight for her and succesfully manipulating everyone and things like that, I am sure she thinks she is in full control of everyone and is playing us. I am moreso playing out my usual loli white knight fantasies xD
