Nope.

Oh you actually did it yesterday?

How'd it go? Is it still preferable to Residential?

Let's talk about what you are doing, mental health-wise. I think that would be an interesting topic shift,

you've this many weeks in made it clear that you don't want to face your own life.

Called it.

I'm willing to talk about myself in general, but this topic's been about you and you're clearly using it as a strategy to divert from talking about problems you don't want to face.

You must have skipped it yesterday.

Not at all. I've been fairly open for a while now. But it seems like you don't want that same kind of attention on you. Why not just explain?

Tryp: "Watch this guys"

[Tryp does wheelies on a table until they stop talking about it]

You've done this table turning barrage of questions thing too many times at this point to take it seriously, especially when each time in your history it's been necessary for you to do as a diversion. There is literally a topic Major Major recently hosted called "Turncoat's Mind" where he even calls on your talking about me, yet you choose to only discuss me in a topic where it'd serve to conveniently stop talking about yourself?

This topic is literally about your detox efforts, and when given the platform to brag about how you did the program yesterday as a way of rubbing it in my face about how I don't know everything, you instead stick entirely with turning the table.

This gives off the impression of you skipping the program.

Did you even read it?

[watches Tryp run away to chat]

It's cool, I can wait.

You clearly want to talk about it, but feel challenged by someone who's pushing you to look at the darker parts:

Tryptamine:
I've been too depressed to do shit
I'll figure it out, I just end up in lulls sometimes
This is my 3rd time I'm getting SSRIs thrown at me
Even with a long-standing depressed energy
I can kind of peak at times, because I never give up
But when I'm really down, I don't know if the pills do anything
It always feels more like something I have to rise out of myself
I'm at the point currently where I have a hard time getting out of bed
May take an hour
No will to move
But then against all of whatever that is, I get up and start to hydrate myself
Alcohol is helping right now, even though that is not usually a suggested treatment
I usually come out of these situations fine, and even efficient. This is just a particularly bad episode
Alcohol is not a good replacement, it's just a way of numbing oneself
I'm drinking now, but only because I have to walk 3 miles with no motivation
Otherwise some bad shit will happen
I could use some numbing, things often feel intense to me
I've broken furniture, had the police called on me numerous times
There's nothing cool about that, I just don't enjoy being cranked up so much

23:55 Tryptamine: Alcohol is helping right now, even though that is not usually a suggested treatment

Yet more confirmation that either Tuesday was skipped or that it's ineffective.

Listen to your therapist and social worker and do the Residential. Your grandfolks found a way to live without you for three days somehow, so I suspect your whole "I have to cook, return shirts, and stop a dripping ceiling" excuse is shit. If they were to have assistance from the rest of your "they're worse than I am" family, you'd still not try to fix this problem.

23:56 Tryptamine: I usually come out of these situations fine, and even efficient. This is just a particularly bad episode

Even this is very clear coping mechanisms at work. You need to see that you're out of control if you ever hope to wrestle with it properly, as your current understanding of it is just a self-sabotaging illusion.

You can do this, you just don't want to. You'd rather numb yourself from being so naturally hyperactive and sensitive otherwise.

23:57 Tryptamine: I'm drinking now, but only because I have to walk 3 miles with no motivation

You think taking a depressant is supposed to motivate you?

If it's too much for you to follow in this format, considering how much you've clearly had to drink today, I can split it into separate posts no pressure. Just let me know.
