My therapist said I needed to go detox, and I am actually listening to her because I am in some severe shape at the moment. So if I don't show up for a while after tomorrow, it's because they locked me up. No phones allowed, they are really doing the works. 5 days at max, not as bad as it could be.

Medicare has covered everything I do (dental, hospital visits, detoxes). It could depend on what plan you have (I have Molina), and if SSI somehow affects your coverage.
It's helped me with some dental work, so it'd probably help with detox, but I really thought you weren't opting in for government assistance and instead just gathered a deeply dug debt.

You're supposed to give an alcoholic on a high level of a benzo and taper them down over three days.
These idiots were dosing me based on when I showed signs of withdrawal. The only problem is, I don't tremor because I'm on beta blockers. So that means I had the nastiest comedown, and even a blood pressure of 171/110 at one point. Then when they finally called the head doc, he was like "yeah, he's in withdrawal still, put him on Valium every three hours." I would have been better detoxing at home.

If I can get health work for free, I'm going to take it. The dental work gets iffy. There were some procedures I could do, and some I couldn't. But the overall goal was able to be met.
How are you now though?
Pretty good. Left without any sign of withdrawal and a BP of 130/90. I have some extra Amlodipine at home, so BP will be fine. Overall, disappointed that I wasted 3 days. I was bored as fuck, having to watch MTV with burnouts worse than myself who planned to sell fentanyl as soon as they got out. Or another guy who doesn't want his wife to leave him, but he's doing every hard drug under the Sun and hiding it from her. But then, I'm the jobless alcoholic who lives with his grandparents. So I guess I'm right there in the trenches with them.
You actually set the path towards your own self-sabotage before you'd even gone into rehab? Was it a police ordered rehab, and this is like your personal rebellion versus their protocol or something?
Dude, that's messed up. You just went through detox, can't you just coast on that for a while first?
