Westerners don't even use western created math. The world as a whole uses Arabic math because it is the most efficient- it has nothing to do with anyone wanting to keep their own cultural contributions. Math is actually not racist at all, but this cirriculum was written by guilt-mongering white sociologists, not mathmaticians or historians.

"Western" mathematics has definitely caused huge leaps forward. Why is this a problem?
This is a proud heritage. People should be proud of this. Just as Middle Eastern and Chinese people should be proud of their math contributions.
I dont really understand why some have to view success as bad. Just because a group of people did good and are successful? I don't get it.

It is racist that we don't use the math systems Nigeria or Cameroon invented.
