im thinking the coronavirus contributed to the building up, people are letting off steam
Absolutely. It also has a lot to do with economics. People are pent up because the economy being shut down and livelihoods being in limbo already has people tuned up.
you know, we've all had run ins with total dick cops. but they do serve a purpose in society. instead of reducing cop funding like the dumb ass democrats, how about we get them some psychological training so they don't get triggered and start shooting/choking when someone insults their mom.
This isn't necessarily a Democrat issue. Look at what happened to the mayor of Minneapolis when he showed up to a protest. When BLM put him on the spot, he said he would not cut police funding (why would anyone? That's fucking retarded). Anyways, this is what happened to him:
no doubt, if cops break the law they should be prosecuted and yes background checks
I think one of the major issues the US has is that we don't spend nearly enough time training police or vetting them. I know that in countries like Sweden, the amount of work put into police training makes it look like their cops go to cop college, while ours go to cop Kindergarten. We have a bad program.
again I see the victims getting killed were majority white. and then the excuses start. "OH the armed ones, OH the disproportionate numbers, OH this OH that"
more white people are getting killed by cops, this is fact. the media is again biasing a narrative to spin and cause chaos. its pathetic when you got to feel special due to some media biased lie. it makes them look like the ignorant sheeple they really are.
people need to start looking at the facts and thinking for themselves. NOT letting CNN think for you.
BTW, just for info, in LA, 43% of the cops are hispanic, 35% are white, 12% are black and 10% are asian. this is in line with the typical general population in LA.
I've looked, things are similar in other cities, the demographic of the cops are typically in line with the general population.
It's not so much that the person died; it's how and why it happened.
