BLM and the protests are more than just an issue about race, it's about how cops are not held responsible for their actions, the excessive force, and how their unions protect these individuals from lawsuits and just how corrupt the system truly has become.

The only objection i have to the protest is the word black. As no one to date has defined what black means. Of course the looting is criminal and destructive and that sucks. So i object to the looting.

BTW in 2016 5.858 million white people were arrested by the cops, while only 2.26 million black people were arrested by the cops. This is fucked up for white people. There has to be something wrong here. The cops are targeting white people and killing them.

The minute another group says 'end police brutality against black people' they get fussy. They want to be involved and want to make it about themselves. Do you think perhaps blm didn't see any sort of protest on behalf of white victims and figured that maybe there wasn't so many white victims?

The two cops involved were suspended without pay. Their 57 fellow officers resigned from the unit, not in horror of what had happened but in solidarity with their 2 fellow officers that were suspended without pay.

Their union is very upset that they were suspended:

The union representing Buffalo police officers told its rank-and-file members Friday that the union would no longer pay for legal fees to defend police officers related to the protests. The union is upset with the treatment of the two officers who were suspended.

"Our position is these officers were simply following orders from Deputy Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia to clear the square," Evans said. "It doesn't specify clear the square of men, 50 and under or 15 to 40. They were simply doing their job. I don't know how much contact was made. He did slip in my estimation. He fell backwards."

 There is something very wrong with our police. BLM is bringing those issues to focus once again.

how do we know there really is nation wide police brutality? is this a local issue or everywhere?

those cops look like they are pushing a line. pushing people out of the area.

this guy comes up to them talking. they are used to pushing able bodied young people.

the old guy gets pushed and totally falls back smashing his head.

it did not look like malicious police brutality to me. more of an accident
