Is the banning of Primal an abuse of admin power?

So, I get that the first person to wonder this (Edvard) is not too popular with some of you, and I am not exactly up there in the love tower here either, but I would like to try to put it into perspective.

So, as Edvard pointed out- Luna, who was accused pf widespread mod abuse, NEVER permabanned anybody like this for PERSONAL reasons. She banned often but not permanently. And, she banned Jim so much because CP really did hurt the site itself and posed a legal threat to her life too. But TFI? He has permanently banned Primal as a prerequisite to even start the website for deeply personal reasons, and really involving somebody other than him's personal issues. Luna never permabanned for reasons THIS unrelated to the functioning of the site. It's moreso related to the functioning of Sturm's temperament.

So it's- "She is banned forever because she hurt my friend once and if you all disagree then I will not host the site". But swap this with someone else, like me...

I mean, plenty of people have severely hurt the lives of others here way more than Primal supposedly did, maybe they should be permabanned too. Let's say, I agreed to host the site under the prerequisite that Waltz, Alena, Trypt, and Turquie are ALL banned forever for somehow causing delora distress, no if's and's or but's and if you all  question me enough then I will kill the site entirely. And if just one of you does, then I will label you insane, talk about how much I hate you and very severely attack your character. And on top of it, despite banning those people for my personal vendetta, I'll make my signiture very ironically say "I wouldn't even ban you" despite my very prerequisite for starting the site being a permaban of somebody.

Is this mod abuse? Is it fundamentally in line with SC ideals?

Think about it.

Nein.

Why? Is it because I made the thread, or do you really think it is not mod abuse?

I do not think it is admin/mod abuse, it's contractual.

From my understanding, what's keeping Primal banned is her own refusal to meet the admins half way. This is pride.

What about my theoretical site creating contracts I spoke of?

The price would be too costly, many of us would not attend and would instead find a place where the price is not steep.

As it stands, most of the users find primal not being here a small price to pay.

If I were banned there would be an uproar.

So it is more about your biases than the principle of the matter.
