Med is particularly not likely to see through it.

What are her buttons? How do you get med to do anything? Chapo needs to be somehow involved. In the past, chapo also told her to fuck off, and she didn't. Because of that, the result of this thread was to be expected.

If you wanna help her, figure out a way to get her go through a process that gets her to stop obsessing over Chapo willingly. How do you do that? By convincing her the actions of the process will get her chapo.

I still question:

a) How much of this problem centers around her issues with her father.
b) If the only thing that's capable of getting through to her has to be on the level of electric shocks or other forms of near-abuse.

Something jarring and painful enough has to be noticed once it passes a certain threshold of strength and sheer reinforcement, right?

Why can't it be that she was just born really fucked up and inadequate, and she realized this so she started chasing men who didnt love her at all because she knew she would never find one who did?

I don't think it's always the parents fault you know? like sometimes people are just born fucked up

Med is just doing the best she can do, because she is scared to be alone and sit with the loneliness probably

and the best she can do happens to be someone who does not want to be with her and avoids her mostly except for rare occasions, and she lives for those rare moments

do you think anyone could ever truly fall in love with Med? I'm not trying to be mean but like, she's pretty annoying. and she probably knows this so she would rather obsess over an unavailable married guy, than be left by a guy who is available because she is too annoying for him to want to stick out a long-term relationship with

and yeah Chapo wasn't married at first, but he was still probably always emotionally unavailable towards her even though he did propose for some reason or another

Because she herself has described her parents to be narcissistic and cold. Her parents threw money at the problems she had such as failing her medical school courses and gave her whatever she wanted. She's justified orderlies being sexually inappropriate with her and likely other women as okay because they were hot and giving her attention.

She goes on and one about how much better her life was with father around because now her mother won't immediately give her everything she wants.

In this case I do think it's the parents fault

Med's dad was probably a great dad, but Med is just fucked up in the head lol. both of her parents seem normal and well-adjusted in society from everything we know about them

yeah, i don't know enough about her parents to make a judgement call on that. but maybe you're right and it is the parents fault at least partially

if her mother really loved and cared about her, she would be more involved in her mentally challenged daughter's life and prevent this Chapo obsession from continuing

regardless if what I said is true, there are still plenty of emotionally unavailable guys out there and some of them might even put their dick in her(ew), but she's just being lazy at this point because Chapo gives her nothing at all anymore, and he is some of ours friend so she definitely is never going to get approval for continuing her obsessive stalking behavior with him

At first it was amusing even to those of us who are his friend but now it's just disturbing and she should move on to someone else if she absolutely has to keep continuing this behavior

Poor Med, hopefully one day she'll wake up from this warped reality and move on from Chapo. If not, hopefully someone will put her down like the sick dog she is.
