You are getting really desperate man. You jumped guns and claimed a moral high horse saying the punishment was not equal without having the full details at hand and now that you got proven wrong you jump at a last resort attempt to make yourself feel half right with the boldened comment...

And yet in my obvious desperation (lol) I don't think the punishment is relevant, or "equal" to Med having been a dick to people. I think that being disliked in general doesn't warrant more or less punishment than what the crime in question would. It just makes it more satisfying from a vengeance standpoint. 

What I doubted was the sole redeeming point which Turncoat argued, being the efficiency of the punishment with regards to making it a learning experience. I said that in order to enact an educational purpose it'd be more ideal for the punishment to fit the crime, which is basically what we're arguing here.

I just wanted to make clear that the perceived personal slight was part of a broader trend. Like when you take offense at my anti child porn stance as an act of treason :)
