Our best interest is in line with following God since he can do anything for us. Think of it as a bribe but a good kind. Oh wait, that's called a reward.... Heaven

Also, there's passages expressly saying that you shouldn't be a Christian just for the prizes, for the bribe. Your using this to peddle people towards your path is actually you selling them towards the flames.Yeah you shouldn't do good for a reward. People just expect God's will to be at odds with their desire for happiness. What I mean is that... obeying God is not synonymous with suffering.
Then why are you promising rewards as your way of selling it? That's not what God is about, and that style of worship is sinful.
For real though, especially with how few people he's actually going to allow into Heaven, why sweat this stuff?

Come humbly in surrender to the gospel for mercy. Don't try to earn salvation or favour with God. Ask Him for help to overcome sins. Grow in a trusting relationship of faith.
