I don’t know... I have some serious trust issues with food. Yeah I don’t wanna talk about this. I just can’t.
Would it be easier to talk about if I talked about my trust issues with food?
maybe.
what a fucking surprise, the two spoiled suburban narcs have the same imaginary issues
Lol that can't be a real thing.
It's not like we mean that the food itself is the one at fault. It's not like it's meant to be some narrative about being abused by some produce from the grocery or waterboarded with milk or something, that'd be pure-nuts.
One example: Assuming your food's been poisoned or otherwise contaminated. That's not the food's fault, but rather stupid, stupid ideas that can lead to trust issues with food. This quirk's present even in fairly normal people, whether normalized as an issue with germs or it being in a few areas, like not trusting a drink left alone or assuming that there's "things" in our tap water.
Once it's no longer within reason yet it continues to take control over your life, it's delusional, and it's not meant to be a sensible argument as much as a recitation of experience. When there's "trust issues" with something inanimate, it's about their relationship with it, their room to externalize their shit on it, rather than the inanimate thing itself. Even food bingers could argue about this thematically from the other side of the problem, as could people amidst anorexic/bulimic behaviors.
