Hang gummy worms from your nose during an argument.
BWAHAHAAHAH!!!!
What's normal is simply the usual, and the usual can be seen in the majority of subjects.
There is no point in pitting normal Vs. average, cause what we call average within itself is a norm. The two words are even synonymous.

Normal is never a bad thing. If any of our 12 systems aren't normal, then we'll have issues.
As far as how we compose ourselves, striving to be different and acting 'might be' accepted by both the observer and the performer. The reason for this is because abnormal behavior wouldn't serve the performer if it makes them look and feel incoherent dysfunctional, where as if the unusual actions contain elements of normality ( which they do ) then it'll be unusual with appeal for the performer at the very least, while the observer will find something more note worthy.
