Website will be bootyblasted once e cops find this thread. Best perma ban them both before it's too late.

Wow, extreme.
Extremes have happened on this site too, like postings of child porn and someone murdering his gramps.
You think all of that's because of R Rated media?
No. I was mocking you using yourself as an example of health and adjustment. I think a lot of your issues come from letting your mind wonder and dwell uncontrollably in all sorts of places from a young age, yeah.
Children being cyberbullied have even killed themselves.
...are you seriously trying to get me to sympathize with cyber bullying victims?
Are you unable to understand something is bad just by using your reasoning? What a dumb q, Turncoat.
Children hanging out in shady corners of the internet have become porn addicted, addicted to shit that distracted them from school and a social life
How often do you think kids become porn addicted to the point of their grades plummeting?
Why cherry pick the porn example to twist and manipulate my message? You're so bad at this. I said there is internet "shit" in general that distracts young people from school and social lives to a huge extent, and this site most likely is for some who come here. Most responsible parents limit porn access to their kids though, as opposed to what you'd probably do.
used those places for escapism,
You mean as opposed to the hundreds of other escapisms?
Internet escapisms are the most common now imo especially among kids. You get communities where fans become engrossed/discuss a topic all the time, like the Harry Potter thing. You get video games and discussion boards and sicker things like Furries.
Not all children can tell what's wrong for them or have had a good education from their parents to know when to not "bridge a gap".
Wouldn't that sort be just as likely to get in trouble outside?
Did I say fucking otherwise? How is that relevant and why are you distracting from my original point? Always wondered if you're doing this crap intentionally to compromise my points or it is your brain misfiring. I even used outside/town/city as an example to discredit your ridiculous "children are better off not sheltered from shit" argument in the beginning of the post.
I imagine this place being more like his background noise while he thinks about other things. It's easy enough to multitask being here with doing other things.
I don't think it's easy at all to do your homework or play sports while spamming this place and shit talking with Jim every half an hour or so.
Have you thought about talking to TPG about what this place is doing to his life?
From TPG's talks about his life it became apparent he doesn't really have one.

I'm able to see the whole "Cyber Bullying" thing as sensationalism.

I didn't have much worth replying to from the rest of it.

How huge of an extent are you talking though? I'd say you're blowing this out of proportion similarly to what we'd expect from the elderly. If not the internet, it'd be something else, and many aspects of social life now involve things that use the internet.
Most responsible parents limit porn access to their kids though, as opposed to what you'd probably do.
I'd bother with making obstacles, but if a kid really wants to get to it, they'll find a way.
What age do you consider appropriate for being able to watch porn?

I don't really see online communities and fandom as a bad thing.

If they were just as likely to fuck up in the outside world, then the internet isn't the problem.

Homework's not that hard to do while multitasking, and if he were inclined towards sports he'd be doing that on his own.
What, you judging TPG for not playing sports now?
Have you thought about talking to TPG about what this place is doing to his life?
From TPG's talks about his life it became apparent he doesn't really have one.
Does he want one?

So you can't see how trolling and harassing online can affect and get to a kid? Hell it gets to older people here. Kids have limited experience with social interaction. Being exposed to shitty behavior online can deform their perception of it, by either making them prejudiced/insecure or by copying/mimicking the behavior. Also, to children the smallest things that we dismiss seem important enough to have a mental impact on them. Children who spend time making YT videos will have a shitload of troll and hate to deal with, and some can feel impacted by it.
All I am saying is that the parents/caretakers have to keep an eye on wtf the child is doing online and if it affects the child.

Obstacles and supervision are all you can do as with drugs and anything else of this sort. I don't have a specific age in mind. I guess it depends on how mature/able to ration it I perceive the kid to be, and take action if things get out of control. Definitely nothing until they hit puberty. I happen to believe internet porn is really bad for men of all ages especially, and this is why: http://www.menshealth.com/sex-women/porn-debate.

They're not as long as they're a hobby and not a limiting obsession.
If they were just as likely to fuck up in the outside world, then the internet isn't the problem.
I never said the internet was a problem. I said parents not keeping an eye on where the kid surfs online is as dangerous as parents not keeping an eye on the kid outside. Interaction outside and bad habits a kid picks up outside can be more obvious to parents, with witnesses and concrete evidence of something going on. Many think the kid is safe in his/her room so nothing bad can happen, while the kid can damage his/her development through anything from unhealthy sexual habits (with the kid finding out that he can't get excited unless his gf is a tranny shoving a 2l coca cola bottle up his ass), to being radicalized into islam and running away from home in Syria.
What, you judging TPG for not playing sports now?
..Seriously? That's what you got from it?
Does he want one?
Do teenagers want what's best for them?
