Donation of food to a pantry for the homeless.
Yeah, but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a fundraiser for the company, or for the company to have a fundraiser for something. I'm assuming the latter because the idea of a business having a fundraiser for itself is ludicrous.
Anyways, it's really inexpensive to donate food, and gives everyone feel-good vibes. Walmarts do that with their recently expired food products. The only potential flaw in the idea is that it might be so obvious, someone else may also come up with it. As for who to...the local food pantry, or a local homeless shelter.
That would make sense. All the companies I've worked for did fundraisers out of pocket, so I didn't even consider that.
In that case, maybe a potluck with about a $5 entry fee? I can see people doing that for eating during different shift breaks, if it's for a good cause. Maybe add in something fun at the potluck, I think MC was onto something with the bingo idea.
