When people start talking about how unlikely evolution is, they're usually failing to consider just how long 6 billion years is.
This planet did what uninhabited planets do for 5/6 of that time.
It took 5 billion years for the first rna strands to come together as the first building blocks of life.
The rest happened after the accidental(?) blueprint was in place.
