House Turncoat remain standing due to being too damn abstract.

My greatest strength.

I propose an alliance. I will double their territories should they accept. They will be protected and prosperous under my rule.  House Turncoat has always preferred a covert kind of power as opposed to the more obvious type, so Turncoat will be made either Hand of the King or Master of Whisperers depending on his wishes.

A tempting offer, but it's hardly "an alliance" if I'm under your rule. This sounds more like you're expecting me to pledge fealty!

I'm also unsure of if it's wise to join up with someone who's publicly made so many enemies in one fell swoop, especially when I don't know the status of your kingdom in advance. That many fallen kingdoms could lead to a joint faction intent on your downfall, and those campaigns must have cost you some of your resources.

If you eat any food from the lands you've vanquished, I'd recommend hiring a taste tester.

You mean the "law"? :D Inky is very moral, he shares my views. But since he's absent a lot, you have the whole job. :D

Houses can ally with the current ruling House, can't they? They can have closer strategic bonds and treaties that assure they have each other's support when it comes to money, army, projects, etc..

I tried winning many of those enemies over by offering them top positions under my rule.

Campaigns weren't that expensive, I had surprise as decisive factor.

Taste tester, see, this is why we'd make a good team :D

Spatial Mind: Taste tester. Go ahead, send me poisoned stuff.
