Not exactly as ordered, but...

SO....I was interviewing for a job and I got asked:

     How many windows do you think are in all of New York City?

     I said, How many windows in all of New York City, that's impossible.

     Yeah, she said, just a number.

     So I said, OK a googolplex.  I would fix her. (Thanks, Dad for that gem)

     I mean what is this it was a job to teach ESL for one of these high ranked co's, think Rosetta.

     Apparently it's a fairly standard question....maybe in, like, IB.

What would you have said?

you don't even know basic math

There are nowhere even near a googol of windows on the planet, let alone a googolplex.

I'd have said "a lot".

You have reading comprehension difficulties so severe that I'm flabbergasted you've chosen to spend time on a FORUM.

I said I have dyscalculia, I have trouble with math because my brain has difficulties interpreting numbers properly, similarly to how dyslexia fucks up reading for people.  Because of this, I have a disinterest in math, and avoided learning more complex math than I require to understand what I want to know.

That isn't remotely the same thing as not knowing basic math.
