I believe..

Virus stated: source post

Is this a galactic or universal altruistic POV you have?  Why shouldn't we consume everything before us if we can figure out how?  King of the mountain, Baby!

And what's this shit about your boobs still leaking? LOL!  TMI...

..that the drivel that spouts from the end of my dick while playing keyboard  tonsil hockey with Xena is derived from the unlubed  thrusts suffered by Virus via anal penetration of his remaining gray matter...

"For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."

...lol...close enough..

I believe in cause and effect or in other words, what you put out you'll get back in spades.

Currently, I view myself as agnostic. It's hard for me to believe there is no higher power but I don't think he's directly involved currently. My need to believe in "God" probably stems from my childhood and the overwhelming guilt involved in religion at such a young age.

Social determinism.

But I also cling to all the crazy pipe dreams our snake oil peddling entertainment industry feeds us about happy endings and our open class structure.

Not bc I really have much faith in them, but bc I need smthg to do with my mind to keep it from shrivelling up.

It takes a lot for me to believe. I can pretend and play and get swept away in the rituals and the singalongs and heartsongs that people use to share their faith led movements with others.

But ultimately, I don't believe that a thing exists (or that it is what it is being called) or that it ought to be the way it is, or that it ought to be some other way until I see ample quantifiable evidence and consensus that it is so, and also that it is beneficial/ useful/ worth bowing to or at least thinking about.

How worldly?  Please rethink your position.  Life on other planets, but not unicorns?  Wait till those evolved unicorn aliens come get your ass!  I will pray for you GW.

Yes. It's likely that there is life on other planets.

Possibly even intelligent life.

But for right now, it's probably a good thing that we can't find them. We are still the conquering monsters starring in so many of our SF movies. Better not to push ourselves on yet another species/ culture.
