Reasons why I voted for Brexit:
- I want political instability that will eventually lead to the breakup of the U.K. And the anarchist in me likes a bit of chaos.
-
- The economy going tits up will benefit me personally. My job and savings are secure. Even in the event of an absolute economic apocalypse I will never be unemployed (unless I get really sick). If house prices come down as predicted I am planning to invest in property, and my family have similar plans to do well out of the falling pound and other things.
-
- I am a genuinely horrible person. One of my personal mottos is, 'it's not enough for me to succeed, others have to fail'. I want good things for my country, but if bad things happen to the English then that's the icing on the cake. And I'm secretly laughing at friends who work in finance and are worried about their jobs.
-
- I'll still have a European passport, which will make me more valuable at work than Brits who won't be able to travel as easily. And if it all gets really bad then I can just leave the country, so none of it really matters anyway XD
oh wow, the bullet points don't show up. I was very excited abt the bullet points feature, and this has made me sad 😕
