it is interesting to think about. i think it is unlikely that anything exists that can communicate.

besides, they would be light years away, radio waves would be delayed by greater than 100,000 or more light years

so you would talk and then have to wait  200,000 years to hear the response.

I think aliens won't necessarily have two genders. I mean they might have four genders and needs four parents for one child. It might be they are asexual. It might be they are trisexuals.

It might like our reproduction I just think they may have different kinds. I won't be surprised if alien and humans interbreed some unless the offspring are monstrous. I hope it's not like the camel and the llama who mate and have a child though the child is infertile because the the weird mismatch of chromosomes.
