I would disagree Astamiss. Fear breeds contempt or forced conformity, not respect.

I'd have said this if you hadn't first. Being feared not a good tactic with people you need on your side. However, sometimes forced conformity is the best you can hope for from someone so why not go for it.

Good observation. Short term possibility for effect, but long term? Unlikely. ( dependent on personality structure )
