Those facts can be disproven down the line, which in the end renders them beliefs after the fact. Something isn't necessarily a fact merely because it hasn't been proven false yet, simply the best assumption that we have with a strong and believable basis.
We can't claim to really know anything with enough clarity to know that it's truly infallible, simply believable. If it was some sort of Matrix scenario for instance, what then?
