In my sleep, unaware of it even happening. Maybe a painless poison to cause it.

well, i can't die unless someone kills me or i reach my "expiration date" (or life expectancy). but i'd want that way to be as painless as possible. like someone killing me in my sleep, like turncoat said

I think the best way to die is on your own terms. It can be subjective. I think most would want to die peacefully in their sleep surrounded by loved ones. 

Losing the will to stand... It takes time and dedication.

That thing Michael Jackson did with the hyperbolic chamber and anesthetic appeals to me. 

I'd rather be ignorant of it than know it's coming for the same reason that I wouldn't want to know that I had something like cancer. The avoidance is about it being a suffering of the mind, not the body. 

Even with a deathwish, dying's hard. There's even a self-mourning in suicidal behaviors.

I have a teacher who might have Parkinson... She refuses to get the test because she doesn't wanna know ahead.
