That's not surprising in the least.  He said nothing but flattery.  It was a less sophisticated Haart method of manipulation, and it's depressing how well it tends to work.

Susceptibility to flattery is quite an exploitable weakness here, it seems. It often felt forced when it came from him, blatant in it's execution. 

Still having trouble with that reading comprehension are we? Seeing things in black and white without evidence towards either side is just plain dumb. It's not a question of if someone manipulates the real question is, to what degree and how it is relevant. 

It's relevant to what I replied to, orange farmer. : P

Yeah because assuming people's interpersonal relationships on here are based on some grand manipulation scheme is not at all grasping at straws.

Everyone here manipulates in some way.  If you think anyone on this forum is 100% honest and straightforward with no agendas, you're a halfwit.

Actually, he was an emotional manipulator and tantrumed when you called him out on it.

You mean he was not  a manipulator and denied it when you and only you  accused him of it.

Hint: Saying "no I'm not" =/= having a tantrum, triggering or having a meltdown.
