Learning to move on is valuable as well.
Imagine a lovesick type who doesn't take no for an answer with those mottos.
Your Honor, counsel is leading the witness.
In a summer job a decent-ish amount of money disappeared from a cash register during my shift. It happened on the first day and I probably handed the wrong change at some point. I was curious about when and how exactly did the money went poof, but other than that, other personnel were more sorry than me. I just summarized it and covered the difference myself, as I should.
If I fail at something, I conclude that my skills simply weren't good enough to fulfil the task at that time, if it wasn't something random, sometimes analyze the failure and move on.
I mean, I can't do more than I'm capable off at some particular moment. If it's necessary to do so, I better myself for a future encounter or, like happened in the mentioned job, act more careful. If it's nothing important, I just leave it be.
