True, but there aren't massive levels of bacteria in most of the West because of treatment plants. Smaller amounts of a pathogen tend to build the immune system, not overwhelm it. Depending on the pathogen, of course. But water treatment in the West is pretty thorough.

I think there is bacteria in everything and our bodies are used to the bacteria we're regularly exposed to. Foreign bacteria can makes us sick until we build up immunity to it. I heard that one time.

There are so many strains of the flu...it seems pointless to me for the general population to receive vaccinations for it. The administration of vaccinations against the flu may even help it evolve. The only vaccine shots I take are for tetanus, as that's a rather deadly bacteria.

 

that is fucking right on, it helps the viruses that are we are not vaccinated against propagate.

why dont they get a clue?
