I like the times where he is a complete asshole that is obviously fishing for useful information to use against you. I also love how he is completely paranoid about any question toward him, and how he starts shit and acts like he never had any part in the beef.

i think he can be fucking hilarious (intentional or not), he is very nice to me sometimes and he sees me which i hate but also respect.

Everyone has strong and weak sides, so does Eddy. But overall I do like him. Place wouldn't be the same without him.

So does this mean you're vouching for ed's self proclaimed, expert people reading skills? Noting how he is with subtleties, I'd chalk this up to you two knowing eachother for awhile.  I think you two have a history and have been on good terms for a good part of it. He doesn't need redeemable qualities for you two to get along and you don't need to make up paper thin reason for why you like him. Like you, he's one of the few members that's been around for awhile.
