Processed foods are designed to keep the vast majority subdued and too ill to prosper. Eat only what the earth gives you in as natural a form as can possibly be tolerated.

I'm curious if anyone has notable experiences with nutrition (either good or bad) impacting their mood or mental health/disorders overtime. Are there certain foods that trigger or impact your behavior?  (Alcohol does not count.)

I know two foods and the beverages that impact my mood greatly. Pizza (among Italian foods) makes me really happy. For the beverages, the ones that most impact my mood and behavior are RedBull, Mountain Dew, and Root Beer. The one thing that totally impacts me and my mood and all of my behaviors though is......

ICE CREAM

Yeah, when I eat well I feel better. I am never sure what precedes what. Not feeling well leads to eating poorly or vice versa. I know how to eat well but I'm inconsistent in my practice. Sugar is something I avoid. I don't eat much meat but my doc says I need to eat more. I definitely feel hangry at times.

Who cares, I'd rather just eat and do what I want without considering side effects.

YES.

The minute I began using calorie count to watch what I was putting into my body was the minute I began to notice slight behavioral shifts in myself and somewhat with others.

Sugar helps me a lot, and Zinc seems to reduce stress.

It does not seem that way. Caloric intake is important; I feel lethargic without having had enough food. Other than that...no.

I've eaten healthy and also unhealthy, and feel the same in both instances. Exercise and relations with others are what have the most impact on my moods.

I think I am smarter and more awake when I eat less. In the moment I eat I feel like I am more slothful and my intelligence drops. I am not sure if this is real or in my head... It might be a food placebo.
