back on topic, the obsession w Xena kinda mystifies me, I don't see anything particularly interesting here tbh, and it actually kinda creeps me out the way some got completely obsessive over it. I'm normally pretty good at sensing blood in the water both online and irl, and I don't really see it here.
It's been buildup over the course of a while here. She'd made herself into a bit of a clown-by-example through constant floundering and poor justification, and for those walking into the story late it probably looks about as weird as when PF was having a go at her a few years back while the SCers were less-than informed as to why it was worth the trouble. Without prior context it just looks like arguing, but with it it shows some twisted and confused subtext.
I agree that everyone is subject to bias of some form or other, but do tell us o wise one, why is it you don't examine your own? You state these opinions, then make lame attempts to psychoanalyse those who disagree with you instead of actually backing up your own arguments. Ed's opinion comes from his own PoV just as yours does, what exactly makes yours superior? It's like you don't understand the concept of arguing XD
The "psychoanalysis" happens towards more than just those who disagree, but often times bringing such things up tends to lead to a disagreement.
In the case of Ed, a lot of his arguments after a point just become noting tactics once he's run out of actual things worth saying. The "father" thing was a guess, but noting the choice of tactics has prior examples.
As for you, you seem to have a knack for picking favorites and siding with them regardless of the argument (often through ignoring/not reading parts of it, or changing the argument into something else for a stronger stance). My excuse for not having as much to say against Crow is the same as I have for Syst: I see them enough in real life and tend to get it out faster through those means. What's your excuse for having Ed not be directed against by you?
