Even if someone's dox is deleted from threads, nothing's really stopping people from posting it elsewhere once they get their hands on it. I don't see how stopping dox from being posted in chat will make much of a difference when it can just as easily be spread via PM.
I'd say the only sure-fire way to make sure your name doesn't end up plastered all over google is to be more careful with your personal info
Yes. Delete the dox on a thread at the doxxee's request.
Ban the doxxer from chat if it happens in chat.
But don't bitch and whine if the doxxee wants to counterspam the offensive info out of chat. Fair's fair.
That's what autoban is for. If autoban doesn't recognize a counterspammer as a spammer, the mods should respect that :D

I'd say yes. It's mostly puppet accounts doing it anyway. As long as the spamming ruins the usability of the chat, time out the fuckers.
