If the dox victim admits it is them, sure, delete it. That doesn't mean members will cease to have the information. But it can be nice not having it staring you in the face. But once you're doxed, you're doxed. I'm not against softening the blow a little.
Could we establish a list of people that agree not to dox, and thus can request their own information be removed?
Shouldn't be much of an issue with puppet's doxxing. You ought to know who is behind the leak, unless you're leaking to everyone, in which case you deserve it.
It's shit like doxing and feuding that keeps me coming back to this place every winter. Without the drama. This place would be boring as fuck. As long as you don't pretend to be someone your not. You don't have shit to worry about.
If someone called my mom and told her what I said or did on a sociopath forum. She would probably say "Yep that's him"
So... because you haven't read it, it doesn't exist?
This place's search function leaves much to be desired, but 1.0's still works well enough. All the same, I think it's good to have this brought up again, seeing as the old discussion was from over a year ago. People might have new opinions now, and this topic will be that much easier to find.
Edit: Wait, how long have I been a mod for at this point?
According to both you and turncoat there is already moderation here in how doxes are handled. So, I'm not technically asking for more moderation.
As far as I'm concerned there is no policy on dox handling at the present time. It seems to me that turncoat does what he wants, including doing things out of spite. As was the case with Pink.
There should be consistency in how doxes are handled. What I suggest would provide consistency and may prevent further doxing if people know it will be dealt with immediately or as soon as possible.
It would also prevent turncoat from playing with people for his own amusement and purposefully delaying the process.
