Moderation and assessment of character are not the same thing.  I never claimed intuition was a bad thing, only that it's not how one should moderate.  If I were a mod, I would not use my mod powers to prevent you from becoming one.  I'd only make my wariness known, as I have.  Likewise, if Tony were a mod he would be perfectly free to sympathize with Pink.  He would not be free to abuse the rules of the forum for her.  Which is exactly what he just said he would do.  Your comparison is flawed.

So you're going to moderate off of intuition, instead of facts?  Pink claimed it was not her information.  She did so loudly and often, with great conviction.  By the rules of the site, she was not in a position to have it taken down.  Taking it down upon her request would have been against the rules.  What you are saying right now, is that as a moderator, you would have broken the rules of the site, based on your whims of intuition.

Apparently, crow wouldn't care if her own personal information was exposed on the forum, if she happens to get doxxed. After all, she seems to be against deleting personal information that can be abused and exploited.

I'd rather be a mod than have any of these other candidates as mod.

But I also agree that unless there's a firmly established need, probably best to be conservative. I think TC is doing a good job.

I honestly don't see why you would be weary about me.(Yes, I read your description of me, it's unfounded considering we have never had a serious conversation and you haven't tried to get to know me sobs) I'm harmless. I love this place. I want it to live, to grow, to be happy!. Not crash and burn. 

A rule agreed upon a few is not a forum rule.

A mod could take down a dox if they feel like it, with or without the cry of pain of the doxee. There is no loss in it.

No, it's not.  It's not anything in fact.  There is no rule against doxxing.  There is no rule stating that doxxes must be taken down.  The only rule agreed upon by the community, is that a dox may be taken down when requested by the doxxed party.
