How is it fun when all I really want is to have a conversation with someone who actually gets where I'm coming from?

When I first found this forum (back in the old nabble forum days) I thought I'd finally found a place where people might relate to me. Mind you, I didn't read the comments before joining. I just read 'Sociopath World' and thought "I'm bound to find some like-minded people here", but fucking hell, was I ever wrong.

This forum is full of nons who would rather talk about beverages than crime and violence.

Someone you can be yourself with is the stronger factor of those three.

And, I've noticed most people won't discuss crime and violence in the forum itself. It always delves into insults and amateur diagnoses whenever someone does, people are accused of lying, etc.. Seems pointless to try if a discussion won't be had.

I do not experience anything I've heard others describe of loneliness. I rarely want social interaction and when I do, the desire wears off quickly after the interaction begins. I've had people become furious with me over this. I live with someone and have pets, this probably makes a difference.
