"I don't agree with that assessment."
If you had agreed, I'd have been wrong.
Imagine you're black. You're just chilling with your mates, who are mostly black or mixed or whatever, talking about regular stuff, when this white kid comes over. He's skinny and pale and wearing baggy jeans with a chain and carrying a bucket of fried chicken under his arm.
He says, "sup dawgs, I been in da hood an got dis here chicken wings for ma niggas". You're like 'wtf is this?'...turns out the kid is 100% convinced he is black. All his interests revolve around it, he only listens to rap, only watches black TV. He's basically a walking, talking media stereotype of everything frightened political commentators think black people should be. Do you dislike the kid? Ofc not, this shit is fucking funny.
Now fast forward three years. The skinny white kid is still there, 24/7, eating chicken, trying to hang out and coming out with every cliche of how black people are stereotyped.
If this were a sitcom, you'd want the kid to have a walk on part every now and again, it's a funny act. But three years, 24/7? The joke's over.
You're wrong with throwing all the people here in the same TK hating bucket. I used to dislike TK but she's grown on me. She makes threads and comments that turn this place more lively, and she's not even half as delusional and full of bullshit as other posters. You say full of bullshit? Look at Orange. You say emotional despite claiming otherwise? Look at Luna and Systematic. You say delusional self image? Look at Spatial Mind.
Also, I never felt like TK demanded respect. If anything, she just wants people off her back from time to time.
