I'm not a psychopath, nor do I live in a country with the death penalty.
However, I lend my voice to the "no" party. I think the death penalty is a very crude instrument, and one I largely associate with undeveloped societies. Judicial murder as a form of retribution is uncivilized, and the wealth of evidence denouncing capital punishment as an effective deterrent or cost saving measure renders it entirely without merit.
I would suggest that America really questions why their Western nation ranks among China, Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia for executions in volume. Perhaps you're not so different after all.
