I know I got neutral good... Though I like to think I'm chaotic good... I just don't care much for rules I mean I follow my heart over the rules. I got in trouble for skipping class in high school for trying to comfort a friend who just lost someone close to them. I don't give a fuck if they punish me because when my friend is in pain I'm going to help them!
The addition of "tendencies" expands the spectrum a good deal further (like saying someone is chaotic neutral with evil tendencies to show where the person leans).
Of course it won't say all there is to a person, but measuring one's need for structure and how selfish someone is does map a good deal of internal motivation. It also can express patterns of how two alignments might interact with one another when made to clash. When it's used in relation to things like television shows, it can show things about the writers who made it.
Lawful - Almost always follow the rules
Neutral - Follow rules when necessary or not too inconvenient
Chaotic - Almost always break the rules
Good - Almost always care about the welfare of others
Neutral - Care about others when it's not too much trouble
Evil - Almost never consider the welfare others
Is this somewhat correct?
