I don't eat pancakes very often, but on the odd occasion that I do, I like butter and maple syrup on them.
They're also nice with a scoop of ice cream on them.

That’s my pic with a photoshopped comedy moustache, lol. Here’s the original:
Don’t ask me where Xena got it from - she must’ve saved it last year during the 20-odd minutes while the old “post your face†thread was alive on PF, before the mods edited out all the members’ pics. I take it as flattery.
Now, if she starts to pass off my arse pic too as hers, that might piss me off indeed - don’t fall for it! Hers is twice as big. And droopy.
by SpecialFlowerI've never tried cooking crepes myself. That's restaurant food. We only get that stuff 5 or 6 times/ year.
I might try it some time if I have $5 or $10 and a few hours to throw away on the chance that I won't get it right the first time.
Restaurant food??!? Crêpes are the simplest thing on earth to make, pretty much everyone learns it by the age of 12 hereabouts. It’s one of those “cheap and easy†basic foods to make when you’re short of ingredients/money/time. Definitely not ‘restaurant food’.
Give it a try, it takes max. 5 minutes to "learn" - all you need is a frying pan, flour, milk, couple of eggs and a bit of butter. Next simplest thing to scrambled eggs.

Um, jam and peanut butter. Those tortilla wraps, I'll dump some peanut butter, then some cocoa powder on it, and I've got an instant corn pancake that tastes like a reese peanut butter cup.
Anyways, when I make "pancakes", it's normally crepes, and it's jam that goes inside them most times. Cream Cheese rarely. Syrup, yeah every now and then, but if I need a sugar fix it's just syrup on a piece of bread that's been buttered.
I've made pancakes, maybe once or twice in my life, and ordered them maybe once or twice. I just don't really eat pancakes.
Honey is WAY too sweet. Way way way too sweet for me.
