So to gain their favour(lol) early on is to establish a potentially profitable connection.

Some people don't like gifts, they don't like to receive anything, because they understand the dynamics of favors, obligations, and fundamentally, what freedom is.

So the next time someone doesn't accept your gift, and says, don't take it personally. Well, they are probably anti-social.

Now an NPD (your problematic ones), they love gifts. Even if they toss that shit in the garbage, it's a social signal of control, belonging, and fundamentally, control.

All theory... Right?

If you go someplace important, you had better show your respect, by bringing gifts.

The way I see it, the most profitable people are those that have the most connections.

Possibly. However, I must say the most profitable situations in my life, have had nothing to do with the millionaires I have worked for and met. Typically, people with connections can help you find connections, but the profitable people are the ones with skills and talent. Exploiting those resources is where corporations build multi billion dollar enterprise.

For example, go to a bank and tell them you have 100,000 dollars and you want to make some money.

Or, you could take 100,000 dollars and give that money to lets say, some construction crew to build a home from cheap parts, with cheap labor, whatever.

Where is the better return? The well connected banker, or the skilled labor?

Right? A bank is going to invest in the real estate crews, with your money anyways.

So, this is a sociopathy forum right? The difference between being consciously aware of your actions and why you react, versus running on auto-pilot.

I'll bet the megalomaniacs were the ones who coined the term head shrinker.

And... most npds never need to visit a psychologist, until they discover control begins to slip from their grasp.

Only guessing. It's a cliche in a movie. high powered executive or gangster or whoever, sees the world start to crumble around them, they lose control, and social order ceases to be the vision they previously conjured up.

In order to get something you must give something.

From someone else? sure... but generally no... you don't need to give anything, to get stuff from life, but to get stuff from people, if intimidation, or other fear mongering techniques don't work, yes, it's called incentives, and lobbyists, politicians and socialites, it is their business.

I posted the link to the media controversy thing. People can get really willed up if they sense in any manner what so ever, that they've been duped.

I believe fundamentally, there is a belief system that the mass majority subscribes to, and that is generally "fairness".

However, each persons idea of what is fair is very very different.

Why would you? The people you're working with have all those things and know how to use them.

I agree with that. That's why I try to establish as many connections with differing groups of people as I can. Regardless of what they do. In that way, if I ever plan on working on something like music, for example. I already have people I can contact to get the ball rolling. Musicians, producers, sound engineers, studios. Balancing quality and quantity.

I've never belonged to any niche, clique, or group. I've always been a sort of mediator between them.

I don't get it.

Wouldn't you want to know where the microphone and guitar store is?

;)

Now you know why alot of anti-socials are also anti-commercial. But you have to let people go after what they want.

The only landmark event in recent history that comes to mind is the Mili Vanili backlash in the 90s. They were a total construct.

Even in life you must give to get. Shit doesn't just fall on your lap. You have to devote time, effort, or some other aspect of yourself just to be able to survive.

How the question is structured makes for different answers. That question would not accomplish what I was after.

I can't answer those questions though they are very interesting. Especially when things like YouTube come in to play. Seems like they police themselves for copyright claims out of loyalty to their corporate masters.

"I hope this hasn't hurt or friendship."

It hasn't become any worse, no worries.

That's a movie?

Tea parties do not work. only my opinion.

Technology is the driving force, and it will trump any ethical or religious concerns people have.

Farenheit?

Nope.

Borg... yes, its monoculture more and more everyday.

Fuck, I don't know how to say it, but it's so incredibly grey out there, but by far some of the best times ever to be alive. I don't fully understand the graveyard that is life, but I am fully optimistic that the industrial revolution is dead, and something much bigger and better is headed this way for mankind.

I just think people have to get over the idea of money meaning anything at all.
