I am rarely rigid about anything, sorry you feel this way. And when did I say i was ''afraid to be made a fool''?
"i think manipulation has more to do with acting ability, which means the more delusional you are, the more convincing you are. at the same time, the more delusional you are, the easier it is to manipulate you."
Getting to know a troupe of actors shows this in spades. They know how to control a room, but the only place offhand I'd imagine finding more loonies is a Nuthouse.
Much better Wilful. "It seems" is how you separate perception from absolutes. Kind of like how I began my post with "My take" which was my cue to the audience that what I was about to say is based on my own opinions and perception. No where in that post did I once declare my standards to be law, and challenging someone's statements is not the same as telling them to conform to my way. I don't see how engaging in debate equates to sounding like a 20 year old, but I have a feeling that it really wouldn't matter what I say in my post, or what way my words are delivered, because kind of like a 20 year old... you seem unable to see any value in anything I write, simply because you don't like me.
Actually I take that back... I've seen plenty of 20 somethings who are capable of being objective when they read the posts here regardless of who is posting them. Must be a personality thing. :)
Do you ever feel strongly about a belief you have only to feel strongly about the opposite the next day, or a week later? Or do you ever start an argument and as the argument carried on, and your opponent's points start to sound stronger than yours...ever tell them they are misunderstanding you, so you can keep tailoring your argument, and changing your original point to something way off, in order to sound like you know what you're talking about?
